Senior SEO Consultant (EN)

You know what Google means with Helpful Content, you understand the technical side of SEO for JavaScript websites and large e-commerce platforms like Casashops and Koninklijke Oosterberg, and you can translate this into a concrete strategic plan for our clients. You use this knowledge to help our national and international clients such as JBL USA, Primera, Mobiel.nl, Sunny Cars and CASA score even better in Organic Search. You will be responsible for a small number of clients, so you can really dive deep into their accounts. In addition, you have the space to contribute to the development of the team by doing things like:

• Developing cool customer cases;
• Taking on other marketing/sales activities;
  
  
• Innovations, for example with Python and OpenAI;
• Improving our existing way of working, templates or analyses.

What will you do as an Senior SEO Consultant?

Because we want to make use of everyone’s strengths, we will come to a concrete distribution of customers and tasks after the hiring process. Basically everything is negotiable. Do you want to contribute more to innovation, proposition development, marketing or do you prefer to run a lot of customer projects? It’s all possible! Whatever your preferences may be, in your role, you will at least have the following responsibilities:

• You guide and manage complete SEO projects for well-known clients; in this you will take on a part independently, but from time to time you will also manage junior consultants on customer projects;
• You constantly challenge your clients, always think one step ahead and therefore never encounter any unwanted surprises;
• You spot opportunities for your clients and you know how to translate this into concrete actions. You can do this by convincing them yourself, or by passing on your ideas to our account managers;
• You follow SEO developments closely and apply them to your customer work.

Within valantic, you will be part of the Online Marketing department where you will join the SEO team that consists of 7 passionate professionals with a total of 35 years of SEO consultancy experience. Together with your team, you have the mission to be one of the best SEO teams in the Netherlands and beyond. We set the bar high and are proud of our skill-level. Not only in the field of SEO, but throughout valantic. As part of our digital agency, you work closely with different online professional departments. One by one they are highly educated colleagues, each with their own expertise. In addition to team outings, we plan a team lunch in Rotterdam every month, to socialize during working hours in a lunch restaurant of our choice.

Are you that Senior SEO Consultant we are looking for?

You are proactive and result-driven. These are keywords that describe you. But if you really want to succeed in this role, then you have the following must-haves:

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in the field of marketing;
• Quality is leading, but as a guideline you have 4+ years of work experience in a comparable role;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing;
• You have an affinity with e-commerce;
• You have a demonstrable analytical ability;
• You are available for at least 32 hours per week.

What can you expect from us?

• You choose how much you work. 32, 36 or 40 hours;
• A good salary that matches your knowledge and experience;
• A high degree of flexibility: You are allowed to work from home, on-site at the customer or at the office; usually we have one fixed day per week that we are all at the office, the rest is up to you.
